The road to London...

... is pawed with... Well, it's pawed with a bunch of stuff. It's pawed with an incomprehensible amount of paperwork. It's also pawed with money. Perhaps better said, it's pawed with lots of money. Your own money that seems to be falling out of your pockets as you walk around.

I imagine it just takes getting used to, the fact that London is a slightly more expensive place than anything I've encountered before. Granted, places like Dubai or New York are not cheap, but then again I've never tried to rent an apartment (hmm, make that flat) in Dubai. Or anywhere else for that matter.

Now that I look back on it, I've never had the experience of flat-hunting in my life. I guess that there is a downside to that - you don't get much price-negotiating experience in real estate when you've got your own place. And I tell you one thing: buying and renting - two very different things.

Right, we all seek personal benefits when wasting time online (I do), therefore the results of reading this blog should be no different - you should benefit.
